Affiliate disclosure

How BokenJapan pays for itself · Last updated 2026-10-31

Affiliate links

Town pages link to hotels, inns and online booking sites. Some of these may be affiliate links. If you book through one, the booking site may pay BokenJapan a small commission. You pay the same price as you would going to the site directly.

Affiliate links are marked as sponsored in the page code (rel="sponsored"), so search engines treat them as such.

Programmes in use

This site participates in the Rakuten Affiliate programme (Rakuten Travel) and the Klook Affiliate programme. Other travel affiliate programmes are under review and will be listed here once active.

当サイトは楽天アフィリエイト（楽天トラベル）およびKlookアフィリエイトに参加しています。その他の旅行系アフィリエイトは審査中で、開始後にこちらに掲載します。

What money never changes

Commissions and payments never decide which places we list, the order they appear in, or what we write about them. A place with no affiliate link is listed and ranked in exactly the same way as one with a link.

Claimed and Verified listings

Venue owners can claim their listing to send corrections, and can choose a paid Verified check. A Verified badge means we checked the listing details with the owner. It is not an endorsement and does not buy a higher rank.
